  2. Hi. I recently went to have a PFV with my common law spouse. During their routine swabbing with the ion scanner I hit for herion inside my jacket pocket. They then proceeded to have the dog do his thing. The dog sniffed out me and my 2 young children and our belongings. We passed. They then proceeded to swab the top of my pants and my ID. All passed again. I then had to wait for a officer to ask me less than relevant questions. He did not like my answer that I did not know how my jacket would hit for that substance. In any case we were denied our visit. So my question is is there any way to fight this decision? I am supposed to receive a letter in the mail I am guessing to tell me the visits are cancelled until I do more visits and have no hits on their scanner. I do not want our PFV to be cut we waited 18 months to even get the first one and this was only to be our second. Please help with any info that you can. Thank you

    • Hi Bonnie,

We are so sorry for what happened to you and your family. PFV’s are so important; being denied a PFV is incredibly hurtful. In our experience there are a number of things you can do and we would be happy to discuss your options further. Please email us at contact_us@toddcanada.org or call us at 789-990-8402.

      Take care,
      T.O.D.D.
